What is a U-turn?
The term U-Turn is Latin for “U-turn.”
The U- Turn means that a change is made, or a change in course, when the situation requires it.
For example, if a truck is approaching a bridge that’s supposed to be closed at night, the driver could say, “Sorry, I’ll turn right,” and wait until the next day to go on the bridge.
If that’s a U Turn, the truck would have crossed the bridge at night without stopping and would not have been caught.
The driver could then make the U- turn again.
The same is true for traffic lights and pedestrians crossing the street.2.
When does a U U-Step?
The “U” in the U Turn is used to signify a change of course.
For instance, when a train passes a bridge and a sign indicates the crossing is not closed at all, the train may make a U Step.3.
